Todd Green offers 50-60-minute clinics, featuring over 30 instruments from around the world, suitable for either band/choir students or as full student body assemblies.
(Addressed to Warren Stafford, President, Graham County Arts Council, Hill
City, KS) ...While our students regularly attend assemblies that address
social issues, such as self-esteem, and the dangers of drugs and alcohol, they
rarely get the opportunity to see and talk with someone like Todd Green, who
celebrates art and culture from around the world. His performance was not only
amazing from a technical and musical point of view, but was incredibly informative
about the history and depth of global musical traditions. In this time of international
tension, especially between the United States and the Middle East, I am hopeful
that Todd's careful demonstration of Middle Eastern instruments and music
will help build a little more understanding and tolerance in our students. Todd
did a great job of caturing their attention and imagination.

...We are still approached by parents who are amazed at how excited their
high-school age sons and daughters were. Most commented that their children
never mentioned anything that happened at school, but couldn't stop talking
about Todd. His evening concert was also very well received. Todd is a rare
and gifted musician who presents one of the most educational and entertaining
performances I have ever experienced. We hope to be able to bring Todd to this
area many times in the future.
Paul Hosford, Director
Albion Area Arts Council, Albion, NE
...I can honestly say that Todd Green's musical performances were the most
powerful and influential programs that I've seen in my twenty years in education.
Todd did an excellent job of mixing education with humor and kept all of the
students entertained. Our staff is still talking about the wonderful programs.
Todd also performed an evening concert for our community and over 250 patrons
in our small, rural community attended. Many of our students returned for the
evening program, which says a great deal about the impact he had.

Corning Community Schools, Corning, IA
The students were absolutely fascinated with Todd and his ability to play
so many instruments, and they encouraged their parents to attend the public
performance with them. Without realizing it, the students were learning about
geography ans well as history as Todd explained the origin of the instruments
and the countries they came from. He also explained how the instruments in America
were inspired from many of these instruments and the changes that were made
to them in the American culture. It was a very captivating lecture and the students
were extremenly quiet and courteous during the entire performance. His concert
was one of the most successful performances we have had with a guest artist.
The buzz around town was not to miss the public performance and residents wo
had never attended our events attended this one and were very impressed with
the caliber of talent that Todd displayed. Students moved their chairs (as all
of the front rows were immediately filled) and made a new row adjacent to the
audience so they could be closer to see Todd perform. After the performance,
students and adults alike clamored around the stage to visit with Todd and get
a close up look at his instruments. The local newpaper applauded the PVAC for
bringing in "world-class-entertainment" and in a letter from a teacher
at the middle school, the PVAC was commended for the "stroke of genius"
to bring Todd Green into the schools. Many children stated that they were inspired
to continue practicing their instruments. We certainly look forward to bringing
Todd to Saratoga again and would highly recommend him to anyone considering
booking him in the future!

Thank you very much for working with the ISU (Idaho State University) staff
in bringing Todd Green to the Pocatello area for his performances. The Students
enjoyed his multifaceted playing very much, and came back later in the day to
talk to me about the various types of instruments. Todd is very talented and
it was a pleasure to host him today. Please keep in touch, so if he is appearing
locally again, we can plan on having him perform in our auditorium for a much
larger group. Again, thank you and Todd for your time and willingness to eduacate
our students.
