Todd Green offers 45-minute age-appropriate, interactive clinics, featuring over 25 string, flute and percussion iinstruments from around the world, for either individual classes or full-student-body assemblies.

The students were absolutely enthralled by Todd's performances. He captured their attention immediately with his array of intriguing instruments and held it for the entire one-hour performance. Afterward, I heard many veteran teachers comment that they had never seen the students, even the Kindergarteners, sit so quietly for so long. Todd's engaging style allowed him to teach students not only about music and instruments from around the globe, but also about geography, cultural traditions, and accepting differences. The students were so taken with his presentation that many of them attended the public concert with their parents...It is now two weeks after the performance and I still hear students talking about him; they even rember the names of the instruments he played! Todd made a woderful and lasting impression on the young minds here in Little Falls and we would recommend him as a performing artist to other communities.

I was delighted by Todd Green's performance on Thursday, March 15, 2001 as part of the Class Acts Education Program at the Mahaffey Theater for the Performing Arts. The 1,200 students and adults who attended the presentation were treated to a sophisticated, engaging, and beautifully executed program. Todd Green's demonstrated musicianship and charismatic explanation of the instruments that share the stage with him provided an intriguing and educational musical trip around the globe. The process of over-dubbing each instrument was equally fascinating and relevant to today's technology-inspired classrooms. Thank you for making this engagement so easy to coordinate and market. The study guide you sent was very comprehensive and informative. Todd Green's extraordinary musical talent and gracious rapport with the audience made his performance a unique and pleasant presenting experience.

Thank you for the most outstanding music program I've ever seen presented to children! You have such a gift-not only musically, but also for working with kids!

...It was so informative and absolutely delightful! Programs like yours are especially important for a small community such as ours. It points out in such a fun and concrete way some of the vast wonders of the world and human creativity. Our diversity is limitless and incredibly fascinating! Please continue your programs for children and adults alike. It is a good cause indeed.

I recently served on a grant evaluation panel which considered grants from across the state. One involved Todd. I commented to the other panel members that Todd's school presentations here in Albion were the best school programs I have ever seen either as a student or an adult. His collection of exotic instruments and his skill in playing them elicited wild applause and even cheers after each demonstration. Our 8-year old son came home and announced that every child in the second grade now wants to be a musician, and we are still approached by parents who are amazed at how excited their high-school age sons and dughters were. Most commented that their children never mentioned anything that happened at school, but couldn't stop talking about Todd. Todd's evening concert was also very well received. He is a rare and gifted musician who presents one of the most educational and entertaining performances I have ever experienced.

(Adressed to Merrit Olsen, Director, San Juan Island Community Theater, Friday Harbor, WA) I was so pleased with my children's interest in Todd Green's performance that I wanted to thank you! Lilly, Casey and Cody all came home from school last Friday with a glowing report of how they enjoyed his presentation. I feel very fortunate that they can have these enriching experiences through the partnership that the San Juan Island School district and the San Juan Islan Community Theater have. Cody is in his first year of band and has chosen percussion so he was especially interested in the various drums Todd played. He even went to his web site to learn more about him. Thank you for bringing Todd Green to our children and to our community.

Dear Mr. Green, My son came home wildly enthusiastic one day after hearing you play at his school here in Bishop, California. (Thank you for coming!) Since this time he has taken up the trumpet, a hand-held gourd finger piano and the Conga!

I would like to thank you for Todd Green's participation in BAM's Education and Humanities programming for the 2000-2001 season. Many of the students that we serve are unable to leave the school to visit performing arts institutions, and we enjoyed offering Todd's performance directly to the students of New York City. In such a multi-cultural city, Todd's presentation made quite an impression, as many children were able to hear and see instruments reflecting their own cultural heritage. The students and teachers alike responded with enthusiasm to the breadth of information he offered.

Todd Green's World of Music was every bit as expected for the Oconomowok Arts Center. His two school performances were both sold out and he held the children's attention throughout, even taking many questions from the children afterwards. Considering they were 1st and 2nd graders in the morning show that says a lot about a performer. His evening performance on the following day brought many students and their families back to see his full length show...Todd is truly a talented musician and music historian, and an absolute pleaseure to work with. Thanks for recommending him to me and the OAC.
